As a key member of our Maintenance team, our Maintenance Technicians are essential to ensuring our housing units remain safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents across our region. Working as part of a dedicated maintenance team, this hands-on role supports a wide variety of properties—including seniors’ lodges, apartments, and family housing—by delivering responsive, high-quality maintenance services and supporting the longevity of our facilities.
In this role, you will:
✔ Complete routine and emergency repairs in residential units, including but not limited to plumbing, heating, and general carpentry tasks.
✔ Perform preventative maintenance and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
✔ Renovate vacant units, including demolition and installation of fixtures, flooring, drywall, and more.
✔ Maintain heating, ventilation, and emergency systems to ensure operational reliability.
✔ Provide groundskeeping services such as lawn care and snow removal for various properties.

Great meals bring people together—and at North Peace Housing Foundation, our Cooks help create a sense of home through nutritious, well-prepared food that supports resident well-being. Reporting to the Housing Accommodations Manager, the Cook is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality meals that meet dietary standards and promote a positive dining experience for residents and staff. This role ensures food services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in accordance with all organizational policies and health regulations.
In this role, you will:
✔ Plan and prepare well-balanced, visually appealing, and nutritious meals in accordance with approved menus.
✔ Monitor food preparation and service to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with food safety standards.
✔ Oversee inventory control, ordering, and proper storage of food, utensils, and kitchen supplies.
✔ Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including fridges, freezers, and storage spaces.

Resident Services Lead
At North Peace Housing Foundation, our Resident Services Leads are key contributors to the health, safety, and comfort of our seniors. Reporting to the Housing Accommodations Manager, this hands-on leadership role is responsible for the coordination and oversight of housekeeping and janitorial services within the Lodge. The Resident Services Lead plays a critical part in ensuring our facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming, and that our Resident Services team operates efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
In this role, you will:
✔ Lead and support the Resident Services team, including training and performance input.
✔ Monitor the quality of housekeeping and janitorial services, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
✔ Oversee inventory management and budget tracking for janitorial and laundry supplies.
✔ Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and organize all supply/storage areas
✔ Maintain compliance with health and safety standards, accommodation regulations, and workplace protocols.
✔ Coordinate WHMIS training and equipment/product training for new and existing staff.
✔ Conduct regular inspections and reviews, including hazard assessments and checklist documentation.
